Welcome to our story!

It all started with our dad, Anton Schehle, a true master beekeeper hailing from Germany, who looked uncannily much like mad-haired Albert Einstein, fell head over heels for the enchanting beauty of Africa. With unwavering passion in his heart, he dedicated over four decades bee farming before settling down to trade hospitality, honey and beeswax from his charming haven, The Honey Lodge, nestled within the breathtaking Dinokeng.

Within the buzzing bee community, he was not just well-known, but cherished and adored. His love for bees and nature was a beacon of warmth that touched the hearts of many.

In 2021, our dear father's journey ended, we took up the mantle to continue what our father had started. What began as a humble endeavour to carry forward the tradition of beeswax trade slowly blossomed into a family-driven enterprise.

Our journey has led us to specialize in crafting an array of beeswax products, tailor-made for bee farmers, skilled beehive artisans, talented furniture makers, and even the creative souls who find joy in crafting candles, soaps, and cosmetics.

Our products are exclusively sourced from selected farms, both local and neighbouring countries, and every step of the process, from rendering to moulding, takes place right here in our local community. We take pride in ensuring that our 100% African beeswax remains as close to its natural, pure, and unadulterated form as the bees intended.

At the heart of our mission is a deep-seated commitment to serve all those who still hold a special place in their hearts for authentic, nature-crafted beeswax.
